In the app
- Open Yamsio on your trusted phone.
- Go to Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm with Face ID, your fingerprint or your phone’s passcode.
It starts at once: you are signed out everywhere and your kens can no longer reach you.
Without the app
Enter the email address of your Yamsio account. We will write to it to make sure the request is really yours. Nothing is deleted until you confirm.
What happens
- At onceYou are signed out on every device and can no longer sign in. Your name, username, picture and bio are cleared. Your posts, comments, diaries and guestbook entries are removed. You leave every group, and you disappear from your kens’ lists.
- Within 30 daysYou can still stop the deletion by writing to us, but what was removed at once does not come back.
- After 30 daysThe files on your Vuk are deleted. What your kens kept of you when you met — your name, picture and contact details — is cleared from their lists. Your sign-in account is emptied of your email, phone number, name and username.
The people you chatted with keep their own copy of your conversations on their phones. You appear there as “Someone”.
What we keep
Some records stay after an account is deleted, because the law requires us to keep them or because other people rely on them.

If a court or the authorities have an open legal case about your account, the deletion waits until the case is closed.
